cameras are nice, better than the "standard" box set. the software isn't that polished. lot of work to setup. no way to setup push notifications to the phone app??? all I can do is email. I've used blink, much easier setup!!! my only reason to use armcrest now is I need the better cameras. $6 per camera is a lot for the cloud, others I've used are $15 a month for 5 cameras.

Hello, Push notifications are certainly available. It's all controlled in the app notifications settings for the Android OS. Contact us if you are still stuck: cloudsupport@amcrest.com

Cameras basically work quite well and provide the needed info. Sometimes there is a quirk though that needs attention. E.g., what could use some improvement from a programming standpoint is the recording/reporting of motion events. E.g., rapid changes in daylight due to clouds covering, or uncovering sunlight, or shadows cast on a driveway or lawn by moving tree branches are reported as motion events. This should be quite correctible using modern programming and AI techniques.

App was working great, now after a few weeks, can not get notifications. Every time I open the settings, it has defaulted back to no schedules set with no events. I purchased this camera to keep an eye on pets. Live feed works great but cloud is not storing movement. If residence is burglarized, no evidence. After contacting customer support, they were able to explain how to correct the problem. The camera has to be deleted and go through complete install including hooking to router.
